SVM draw their influence mainly from the jazz tradition, but are also heavily inspired by the progressive music of the 1960’s -70's , from the mathrock of the late 90s\ early 2000s, with some disparate and dissonant hints of jazz core, from the drum and bass, and also from metal and experimental music.
